One account for every client you report for

ESGDO is built for firms that prepare sustainability reports for other companies. Add as many client companies as you need. Invite your whole team at no extra cost. Give each person access only to their own clients. Choose which company receives each invoice.

From 2027, a large customer cannot require more than the Voluntary Standard (VS), still called VSME

From financial years starting on 1 January 2027, a large company that reports under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive cannot require more sustainability data than the VSME standard from a client with up to one thousand employees. That includes mid-sized clients, not only small firms.

Your clients are still not required to publish a sustainability report. The change is that one VSME report is now the legal maximum a large buyer can demand. Firms that can deliver that report, with sources for every figure, will get the work.

Every client is the same work, done again

Twelve clients means twelve spreadsheets, twelve sets of emission factors, and twelve versions of the same file. Nobody is sure which version is current. When a client's bank asks where a number came from, the answer has to be found rather than shown.

ESGDO replaces that with one account, one method, and a record of every figure.

Adding a client or a colleague costs nothing extra

No limit on client companies

Add as many companies as you serve. Each one keeps its own data, its own reports, its own billing details and its own history.

No limit on team members, and no charge per person

Invite your whole team. ESGDO does not charge per user. A firm of three people and a firm of forty pay the same for the same report.

You pay per report, not per year

There is no annual licence to commit to before you have the clients. You pay once for each report you prepare, in a tier based on that client's employee headcount.

Your clients' data stays between reports

When you pay for a report, we keep that client's data, answers and documents for at least eighteen months at no further cost. Every new report for that client renews the period. Next year you open last year's report and update it, instead of collecting everything again.

This also keeps your clients compliant. From the second report onward, the VSME standard asks for the previous year's figures next to the current year, and it lets an unchanged data point refer back to last year's report. You need last year's report for both.

Most competing products charge an annual subscription and a fee for each additional user. That model asks you to pay before the work exists.

Each person sees only their own clients

You decide who can open which client's report. An editor can be given access to every company on the account, or only to the companies you select. The restriction applies everywhere the report can be reached: the report list, the report editor, the PDF preview and download, the XBRL export, the charts, the dashboard figures, the emissions calculator and the fuel converter.

Roles

Owner and administrator manage billing, users and client company records.

Editors work on reports. Editors cannot see invoices and cannot make payments.

Administrators can manage editors. The last remaining owner cannot be removed by accident.

Documents follow the same boundary

Documents you upload for the AI assistant can be attached to one client company. Answers prepared for one client do not draw on another client's documents.

And there is no limit on how much you store

ESGDO does not apply a disk space quota, and there is no limit on the number of documents. You can keep source material for every client in one place. A single file can be up to thirty megabytes. Reading a document into the assistant uses AI credits, and every report includes one thousand credits.

Invoice your firm, or invoice your client

When you pay for a report, you choose which company on your account receives the invoice. Choose your own firm if you bill the client yourself and add your fee. Choose the client company if you prefer ESGDO to invoice them directly. The price, the currency and the tax treatment follow the country of the company that pays.

  • Invoices are available as PDF files in your account, in the language you selected.
  • You can pay in euro, in US dollar or in Polish złoty.
  • If you pay from another currency, the payment gateway converts the amount when you pay.
  • You can pay by card or by online bank transfer. The banks you can choose from depend on the country you pay from.
  • Payments are processed by a payment gateway.

A report your client can hand to their bank

A single PDF file with a cover page, a contents page, bookmarks and charts. An XBRL file on the EFRAG VSME taxonomy for systems that read structured data. Both are produced in the language you select, including the chart labels.

The XBRL file is what they keep. If they change accountant or software, last year’s figures do not have to be typed in again.

When ESGDO has enabled it for your account, you can also download the report as a Word file. You can update it to your own template and styles, and add sections and explanations. When ESGDO agrees, the Word file is white labelled by removing the ESGDO line. It is your decision which files you send to your client.

Every calculated emission figure can be traced to a named national source with a publication year. When your client's bank asks where a number came from, you can answer immediately.

Clients in more than one country, and more than one language

Sites in several countries

A client with sites in more than one country gets the correct emission factor for each country. The application reads the sites in that client's report and adds the results together.

How energy and emissions are calculated

A file in each language they need

A client's management, their bank and their parent company can each receive a finished file in their own language. You prepare one report. For many firms this becomes a service they can charge for.

How language versions work

If you need more than a standard account

Working with many clients

If you prepare reports for a large number of companies, contact us about terms for higher volume. You do not need to wait for that conversation to begin. Create your account and start whenever you are ready.

Your own brand, or your own environment

Some firms want to offer sustainability reporting under their own brand, or to run a separate environment limited to their own users. Both are possible.

Questions

Can I try it before I bring a client in?

Yes. Create an account, add a company, and complete the first part of a report at no cost.

Is my clients' data separated?

Each client company holds its own data and its own reports. Staff access can be limited to specific clients, and uploaded documents can be attached to a single client.

What if a client leaves?

The company record and its reports stay in your account. Nothing is deleted when a report is finished. We keep the data for at least eighteen months after the report is paid for, and every new report for that client renews the period. If the client returns, the previous year's answers are still there.

They also receive the XBRL file. A professional preparer who follows the EFRAG taxonomy should be able to import it. The client does not have to retype the previous year's figures.

Do I pay for every team member?

No. There is no charge per user.

What do I pay for?

One payment for each report, in a tier based on that client's employee headcount. AI credits for that report are included.
